Terms of Service

Welcome to Transloot. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Transloot, a web-based AI localization tool for independent game developers (the “Service”), operated by Transloot (“we”, “our”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Transloot. One natural person or single legal entity per account. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@transloot.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. Subscription and payment
Transloot offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans renew automatically at the stated price until you cancel. You can cancel or change plans at any time from your account settings; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Payment is processed by Stripe, subject to Stripe's terms.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support within 30 days of the charge and we'll review your case in good faith.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the source strings, translations, termbases, and other content you upload or generate through the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We will not use Your Content to train general-purpose AI models. Your Content is routed to third-party translation providers (such as DeepL or OpenAI) only for the duration of a translation request, and we configure those providers to not retain your data for training where the option is available.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate applicable laws or third-party rights, including copyright and trademark;
- Upload content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or infringing;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- Resell, sublicense, or share your account with others (seat-based plans excepted).
5. AI-generated output
Transloot uses machine translation and large language models to produce translations. Output may contain inaccuracies, cultural misfires, or term drift. You are responsible for reviewing translations before shipping them in your game. We provide tools (termbase protection, LQA scoring, translation brief) to help, but we do not warrant that AI output is accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
6. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. For paid plans, we will give reasonable advance notice of material changes.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if required by law. On termination we will retain or delete Your Content consistent with our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
